Going West Writers Festival

Poet, dramatist and educator Murray Edmond collaborates with sand artist David Hilliam aka Beachtagger, and filmmaker Luke McPake, to create a magical moment of large-scale landscape poetry at a wild, west coast beach.

I worked closely with McPake to achieve aerial drone shots that captured the scale of the poems in the environment.

Edmond’s own poem – Literal/Littoral – was commissioned by Going West for the Different Out Loud project: a season of videos celebrating the diverse beauty of the Waitākere Ranges.
